- Das Ellmauer Tor ist ein rund 1981 m ü. A. hoher Felssattel mitten im Kaisergebirge in Tirol, im Gemeindegebiet von Kirchdorf in Tirol. Gut 70 Meter westlich des Sattels treffen sich die Gemeindegrenzen von Kirchdorf in Tirol, Kufstein, Ellmau und Going.Es ist die tiefste Einsattelung im Hauptkamm des Wilden Kaisers zwischen dem Ostkaiser mit der Ackerlspitze und dem Zentralkaiser mit der Ellmauer Halt. Weil ein viel benutzter Übergang über das Ellmauer Tor mit ihrer einmaligen Kulisse führt, wird es oft als das Herz des Kaisers bezeichnet. Von Süden, etwa von Ellmau oder Going gesehen, bildet es die unverwechselbare Einkerbung im Kaisergebirge zwischen Karlspitzen und Goinger Halt. (de)
- The Ellmauer Tor is a 2,000-metre high rock saddle in the middle of the Kaisergebirge in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It is the deepest saddle on the main ridge of the Wilder Kaiser between the Ostkaiser's Ackerlspitze in the East Kaiser and the Ellmauer Halt in the Central Kaiser mountains. Because there is a well-used route across the Ellmauer Tor with its unique setting, it is often referred to as the "heart of the Kaiser". From the south, seen from the general direction of Ellmau or Going, it is the distinctive notch in the Kaisergebirge between the Karlspitzen and the Goinger Halt. (en)
