East Coast hip hop is the original style of hip hop music that originated in New York City, USA, during the early-1970s. Famous East Coast rappers include KRS-ONE, The Notorious B.I.G, Wu-Tang Clan, Big L, Nas, Jay-Z, Mobb Deep, Run-D.M.C., Rakim, Gang Starr, Public Enemy, Naughty By Nature and many more.
