EPIC (Executive-Process/Interactive Control) is a cognitive architecture developed by David E. Kieras and David E. Meyer at the University of Michigan. Differently from other cognitive architectures, EPIC is mainly aimed at providing a detailed account of human perceptual and motor operations.It has been especially useful for building cognitive models in the domain of Human computer interaction.
