It was also published in its entirety by d/visual in Italy and in Hong Kong and Taiwan by d/visual taipei, both versions covering all the original chapters, thus surpassing the Japanese tankōbon. A French edition has also been planned and printed by d/visual and was ready to be launched at the Japan Expo 2008 in Paris, but due to an unknown situation, as of December 2008, the series has not been released for sale yet, even though two of the four volumes were already printed and have an ISBN. Nato come "click manga", ossia come "fumetto interattivo" con un software in grado di creare una sorta di ibrido manga-anime-videogioco, il progetto era naufragato dopo le prime 2 storie (su 6 previste) uscite nel 1999. Nel 2004 la storia venne però trasformata in un e-manga, pubblicato poi in versione cartacea dalla Kōdansha. In Italia il manga è stampato dalla d/visual in duplice versione: con la traduzione dei nomi dei personaggi e dei colpi fedele all'originale (es. Mazinger, Grendizer) o con l'adattamento storico (es.
