- Donatien de Bruyne (1871–1935) was a French biblical scholar, textual critic, and Benedictine. He was born on 7 October 1871 in Neuf-Église, ordained in 1895. De Bruyne examined Latin manuscripts of the Vulgate, and he collated some of the manuscripts (e.g. Codex Frisingensis, Codex Carinthianus). De Bruyne questioned Jerome's authorship of the Pauline epistles of Vulgate. According to him Pelagius prepared the Pauline epistles. De Bruyne discovered and published in 1930 an anti-Marcionist Prologue to the Gospel of John. (en)
- Donatien de Bruyne (ur. 1871, zm. 1935) – francuski biblista, krytyk tekstu Wulgaty, zajmował się łacińską patrystyką, benedyktyn. Urodzony 7 października 1871 roku w Neuf-Église. W roku 1895 został ordynowany. Badał starołacińskie rękopisy biblijne oraz Wulgaty. Niektóre rękopisy skolacjonował, np. Codex Frisingensis w 1921, Codex Carinthianus w 1923. Podważył Hieronimowe autorstwo Listów Pawła w Wulgacie, ponieważ pod koniec IV wieku Hieronim napisał komentarz do Listu do Hebrajczyków z tekstem odbiegającym od Wulgaty. Znalazł wiele podobieństw zachodzących pomiędzy Listami Pawła Wulgaty a cytatami biblijnymi w pismach Pelagiusza i na tej podstawie twierdził że są one dziełem Pelagiusza. De Bruyne znalazł w 1930 roku antymarcjonistyczny do Prolog do Ewangelii Jana. (pl)
