- Das Internationale Leipziger Festival für Dokumentar- und Animationsfilm, kurz DOK Leipzig, ist ein seit 1955 jährlich in Leipzig stattfindendes Zwei-Sparten-Filmfestival. In den beiden Wettbewerbskategorien Internationaler Dokumentarfilm und Internationaler Animationsfilm werden als Hauptpreise die Goldene und Silberne Taube verliehen. Hauptpreise der Wettbewerbe Deutscher Dokumentarfilm und Generation DOK – Internationaler Nachwuchswettbewerb Dokumentarfilm sind der Zweitausendeins Filmpreis sowie die Goldene Taube der Medienstiftung der Sparkasse Leipzig. Zur 58. Ausgabe des Festivals 2015 wurden Preisgelder in Höhe von 75.500 Euro vergeben. Seit 2004 gibt es außerdem mit DOK Industry ein umfangreiches international ausgerichtetes Branchenangebot, das zunehmend an Bedeutung gewinnt. 2015 besuchten erstmals etwa 48.000 Zuschauer das Festival, auch 2019 betrug die Zuschauerzahl 48.000, rund 2.000 Fachbesucher hatten die 62. Ausgabe von DOK Leipzig besucht, so viele wie nie zuvor. (de)
- DOK Leipzig is a documentary film festival that takes place every year in Leipzig, Germany. It is an international film festival for documentary and animated film founded in 1955 under the name "1st All-German Leipzig Festival of Cultural and Documentary Films" and was the first independent film festival in East Germany. In 1995 a separate competition for animated films was added and in 2004 a film industry program, DOK Industry, was initiated to allow a networking and contact platform for industry professionals. Shortly after German reunification attendance figures dropped, with just 5,500 people coming in 1993; however, they quickly picked up and in 2008 the festival had more than 27,000 attendees. The 2010 International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film ran from 18 until 24 October 2010. DOK Leipzig is part of the Doc Alliance – a creative partnership between 7 key European documentary film festivals. (en)

Третий, после Берлинского, по времени появления немецкий кинофестиваль. Впервые состоялся в 1955 году.
