- The men's 10 metre platform, also reported as high diving, was one of four diving events on the Diving at the 1964 Summer Olympics programme. The competition was split into two phases: 1.
* Preliminary round (16–17 October)Divers performed six compulsory dives with limited degrees of difficulty and one voluntary dive without limits. The eight divers with the highest scores advanced to the final. 2.
* Final (18 October)Divers performed three voluntary dives without limit of degrees of difficulty. The final ranking was determined by the combined score with the preliminary round. (en)
- Il concorso dei tuffi dalla piattaforma 10 metri maschile dei Giochi olimpici di Tokyo 1964 si è svolto dal 16 ottobre al 18 ottobre del 1964. Hanno partecipato 32 atleti, provenienti da 16 differenti nazioni. Gli atleti che hanno ottenuto i migliori otto punteggi nel turno preliminare si sono qualificati alla finale che ha attribuito le medaglie. La medaglia d'oro è stata vinta dallo statunitense Robert Webster, che ha bissato il successo ottenuto quattro anni prima ai Giochi olimpici di Roma 1960.
