- Demokratische Partei Südtirol (DPS) és un partit polític sudtirolès creat el 1997 d'inspiració liberal, considerat continuador del Sozialdemokratische Partei Südtirols i dirigit per . A les eleccions regionals de Trentino-Tirol del Sud de 1998 es presentà en coalició amb Moviment Polític Ladins i va obtenir el 3,6% dels vits i un conseller (el ladí ). A les eleccions de 2003 va fer coalició amb els Verds del Tirol del Sud i va obtenir 3 consellers (però cap d'ells del DPS); a les eleccions legislatives italianes de 2006 es presentà amb els Verds a la Cambra dels Diputats i amb l'Unione al Senat d'Itàlia. Cap al 2008 la major part dels seus militants s'havien unit als verds i el seu futur és incert. (ca)
- Die Demokratische Partei Südtirol (Abkürzung PD, ital. Partito Democratico Alto Adige) ist der Südtiroler Ableger der in Italien gesamtstaatlich aktiven Demokratischen Partei. Die Partei versteht sich als interethnische und sprachgruppenübergreifende Kraft, wie an der deutschen Übersetzung, die auch im lokalen Symbol zu finden ist, zu sehen ist. Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahre 2007, in dem auch die nationale Demokratische Partei gegründet wurde, ist sie auf dem Gebiet der Provinz Bozen aktiv; sie war von 2008 bis 2018 auch in der Landesregierung als Koalitionspartner der Südtiroler Volkspartei vertreten. Nach den Landtagswahlen 2018, bei denen die Partei erstmals Verluste seit ihrem ersten Antreten hinnehmen musste, ist sie Teil der Opposition. (de)

It was a left-wing alternative to the dominant South Tyrolean People's Party. The party was founded in 1997, as a continuation of the Social Democratic Party of South Tyrol, and was led by . In the 1998 provincial election the DPS formed a joint list with the Ladins Political Movement, while five years later it supported the Greens. In 2008 most Democrats joined the Greens. (en)
- Le Parti démocrate du Tyrol du Sud (en allemand, Demokratische Partei Südtirol - la D-P-S) est une organisation politique aspirant à représenter la population germanophone de la province autonome de Bolzano (Tyrol du Sud). Issu en 1997 du Parti social-démocrate du Tyrol du Sud, ce mouvement allié lors des provinciales de 1998 aux ladinophones de la liste Ladins et aujourd'hui aux Verdi, affirme un tropisme de gauche et écologiste. Son électorat très majoritairement urbain épouse une ligne plus conciliante à l'égard de la minorité italophone que celui de l'hégémonique Südtiroler Volkspartei.
