- La dosi diària definida (DDD) és un terme usat en farmacologia que expressa la quantitat mitjana administrada diàriament d'un determinat principi actiu, expressada en unitats de massa, en la seva indicació clínica principal en adults, prèviament determinada. La DDD fou adoptada com a unitat de mesura per l' de l'Organització Mundial de la Salut en la seva Classificació ATC dels medicaments. Aquest sistema assigna un codi a cada principi actiu (o associació de principis actius) i estableix un valor de DDD per a cada un, cosa que permet mesurar el consum dels diferents medicaments d'una manera racional i realitzar comparacions entre diferents àmbits. La utilització de l'indicador "cost dividit pel número de DDD" en permet detectar diferències en l'eficiència pel que fa a la selecció dels medicaments. Permet conèixer l'efecte de desplaçament extern, entre principis actius sotmesos a preu de referència i principis actius no sotmesos a preus de referència, però també l'efecte de desplaçament intern entre els mateixos principis actius sotmesos a preus de referència, tenint en compte sempre la possible diferència en l'eficiència dels principis actius sotmesos a preu de referència dins de cada grup farmacològic. - الجرعة اليومية المحددة هي قياس إحصائي لاستهلاك الدواء، تُحدِّده مراكز التعاون لمنهجية الإحصائيات الدوائية التابعة لمنظمة الصحة العالمية. يُحدَّد بالتشارك مع نظام التصنيف الكيميائي العلاجي التشريحي لتصنيف الأدوية ذات الصلة. تسمح الجرعة اليومية المحددة بمقارنة استعمال الدواء بين الأدوية المختلفة في نفس المجموعة أو بين بيئات رعاية صحية مختلفة، أو بالنظر إلى اتجاهات استخدام الدواء مع مرور الوقت. يجب عدم الخلط بين الجرعة اليومية المحددة مع الجرعة العلاجية أو الجرعة اليومية الموصوفة، أو الجرعة اليومية المُسجَّلة، وستكون الجرعة اليومية المحددة دائمًا مختلفة عن الجرعة التي يصفها الطبيب فعليًا لشخص معين. تعريف منظمة الصحة العالمية هو: «الجرعة اليومية المحددة هي جرعة الصيانة الوسطية المُفترَضة يوميًا من دواء ما يُستخدَم من أجل استطبابه الرئيسي لدى البالغين». طُرِح مفهوم الجرعة اليومية المحددة لأول مرة في نهاية سبعينيات القرن العشرين. - Bei der definierten Tagesdosis (englisch defined daily dose, DDD; auch Angenommene Mittlere Tagesdosis, selten definierte Tagestherapiedosis) handelt es sich als Äquivalenzdosis um eine rechnerische Größe, die für Zwecke der entwickelt wurde. Unter Berücksichtigung von Produkteigenschaften des verordneten Wirkstoffes kann damit die tagesbezogene, theoretische Einnahmedauer (TED) eines Medikaments errechnet werden. Sie darf somit nicht mit einer therapeutischen, empfohlenen oder verschriebenen Dosis verwechselt werden. Sie gibt die angenommene mittlere Tagesdosis bei Erwachsenen für einen Wirkstoff und dessen Hauptindikation an. - The defined daily dose (DDD) is a statistical measure of drug consumption, defined by the World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centre for Drug Statistics Methodology. It is defined in combination with the ATC Code drug classification system for grouping related drugs. The DDD enables comparison of drug usage between different drugs in the same group or between different health care environments, or to look at trends in drug utilisation over time. The DDD is not to be confused with the therapeutic dose or prescribed daily dose (PDD), or recorded daily dose (RDD), and will often be different to the dose actually prescribed by a physician for an individual person. The WHO's definition is: "The DDD is the assumed average maintenance dose per day for a drug used for its main indication in adults." The Defined Daily Dose was first developed in the late 1970s.
