David Savran (born 1950) is a scholar of twentieth and twenty-first century theatre, music theatre, US theatre, popular culture, gender studies, and social theory. He is a Distinguished Professor of Theatre and holds the Chair in American Theatre at The Graduate Center of the City University of New York.
