David M. Rose (20 February 1931 – 31 January 2021) was a Scottish rugby union and World Cup winning professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1950s. He played representative level rugby union (RU) for Scotland, and at club level for Jed-Forest RFC, as a Wing, i.e. number 11 or 14, and representative level rugby league (RL) for Great Britain, and at club level for Huddersfield and Leeds, as a wing, i.e. number 2 or 5.
