- Das ist je gewißlich wahr (This is now the gospel truth), TWV 1:183, is a cantata by Georg Philipp Telemann. Due to an erroneous attribution to Johann Sebastian Bach, it appears in the Bach-Werke-Verzeichnis (BWV) as No. 141, but was moved to Anhang III, the Appendix of spurious works, in the 1990s second edition of that catalogue. The cantata's libretto by Johann Friedrich Helbig was published in 1720. Around 1723 Johann Balthasar König copied the manuscript, attributing its authorship to Telemann. Its spurious attribution to Bach can be found in some of the manuscript copies produced in the second half of the 18th century. (en)

Elle a été composée à Eisenach en 1719-1720 par Georg Philipp Telemann pour le troisième dimanche de l'Avent. Le texte est tiré de la première lettre de Paul à Timothée 1: 15 (premier mouvement) et de Johann Friedrich Helbig. La cantate est écrite pour deux hautbois, deux violons, alto, basse continue, trois chanteurs solistes (alto, ténor, basse) et chœur à quatre voix. Elle est composée de quatre mouvements : 1.
* Chœur Das ist je gewisslich wahr : en sol majeur avec tous les instruments 2.
* Aria Jesus ist der Menschen Heil : en sol majeur, pour ténor avec tous les instruments 3.
