- Da Vinci's Inquest is a Canadian dramatic television series which originally aired on CBC Television from 1998 to 2005. While never a ratings blockbuster, the critically acclaimed show did attract a loyal following, and ultimately seven seasons of thirteen episodes each were filmed for a total of ninety-one episodes. The show, set and filmed in Vancouver, starred Nicholas Campbell as Dominic Da Vinci, once an undercover officer for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, but now a crusading coroner who seeks justice in the cases he investigates. The cast also included Gwynyth Walsh as Da Vinci's ex-wife and chief pathologist Patricia Da Vinci, Donnelly Rhodes as detective Leo Shannon, and Ian Tracey as detective Mick Leary. (en)

Hoewel het nooit de hoogste kijkcijfers haalde, werden er wel zeven seizoenen van elke dertien afleveringen verfilmd (91 afleveringen in het totaal) en werd er daarna een vervolgserie gestart: Da Vinci's City Hall. De serie speelde zich af en werd gefilmd in Vancouver, met in de hoofdrol als Dominic Da Vinci, een man die ooit een geheimagent was voor de Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Nu is hij een gedreven lijkschouwer en rechter van instructie, die gerechtigheid wil voor de doden waarvan hij het lichaam onderzoekt. В России демонстрировался телеканалом «Hallmark» и ДТВ. В основу телесериала была положена биография мэра Ванкувера, Ларри Кэмпбелла, однако главная роль писалась специально под Николаса Кэмпбелла. Высоко оценённый критиками, телесериал продержался на экранах в течение 7 сезонов (по 13 эпизодов в каждом) с 1998 по 2005 год, после чего был закрыт.
