- Cueva de la Ranchería is an archaeological site located south of Ciudad Madera, in the Sirupa Canyon region, northwest of the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Ciudad Madera has basic tourism infrastructure, however it may be difficult to get transportation to visit the site, since it covers a large area at the base of the Sirupa Canyon. It is a relatively long drive on a dirt road. It is suggested planning a trip for a minimum of nine to ten hours, with little time to explore. It is also possible to visit the San Andrés Sirupa mission, destroyed by Tarahumaras in 1690. The landscape is particularly beautiful and makes it the trip worthwhile from the Sirupa village. Nearby are thermal hot water springs. It is advisable to visit the site with an experienced guide. (en)
- Cueva de la Ranchería es un sitio arqueológico al sur de la Ciudad Madera, en las inmediaciones del Cañón Sirupa, al oeste del estado mexicano de Chihuahua. La ciudad de Madera cuenta con infraestructura turística básica, sin embargo puede ser difícil conseguir transporte para hacer el viaje a La Ranchería donde están las ruinas, estas cubren una extensa área en la base del cañón de Sirupa. Es un viaje relativamente largo en terracería. Se sugiere planear un viaje de un mínimo de 9 a 10 horas, con poco tiempo para explorar. También posible visitar la antigua misión de San Andrés de Sirupa. Destruido por los Tarahumara en 1690. El paisaje es especialmente hermoso y hace que valga la pena el viaje desde la aldea de Sirupa. Cerca hay manantiales termales de Agua Caliente de Sirupa. Es recomendable visitarla en compañía de un guía experimentado. (es)
