- Un programa de judicis (en anglès, court show) és un subgènere de programa de televisió de drames legals o de telerealitat jurídica. Un programa de judicis mostra principalment els continguts en forma de tribunal entre demandants i acusats presidit per un pseudojutge. Aquests programes solen retratar processos minoritaris, simulant l'interior d'un jutjat en un estudi televisiu. El gènere va començar a la ràdio en la dècada de 1930 i es va traslladar a la televisió a finals de la dècada de 1940, amb programes com , o . - A court show (also known as a judge show, legal/courtroom program, courtroom series, or judicial show) is a broadcast programming subgenre of either legal dramas or reality legal programming. Court shows present content mainly in the form of legal hearings between plaintiffs (or claimants in the United Kingdom) and defendants presided over by a judge, often in one of two formats: a scripted/improvised format performed by an actor; or an arbitration-based reality format with the case handled by an adjudicator who was formerly a judge or attorney. At present, these shows typically portray small claims court cases, produced in a simulation of a small claims courtroom inside of a television studio. However, in 2020 through 2021, numerous aspects of this genre were largely forsaken due to COVID-19, such as hearings transpiring from simulated courtroom studio sets. More so than other genres, the pandemic resulted in transformations that were drastic and conspicuous on court shows, because of their unique nature which demands a transition in disputants for each individual episode. The genre first began in radio broadcasting in the 1930s, starting with The Court of Human Relations, and then the genre later shifted to television in the late 1940s, beginning with such TV shows as Court of Current Issues, Your Witness, Famous Jury Trials, etc. (en)

Najczęściej występuje w dwóch odmianach: serialu fabularno-dokumentalnego (paradokumentalnego) albo programu typu reality show przedstawiającego fikcyjną rozprawę sądową, w której procesujące się strony i ich problemy są zazwyczaj prawdziwe, ale oceniający sytuację sędziowie są wyłącznie arbitrami, a ich decyzje nie mają żadnej mocy prawnej. W rolę rozjemców najczęściej wcielają się emerytowani sędziowie bądź prawnicy. Badania prowadzone w Stanach Zjednoczonych wykazały, że seriale takie mogą pozytywnie wpływać na umiejętności ławników (sędziów przysięgłych), mogą jednak również oddziaływać negatywnie, wypaczając u widzów rzeczywisty obraz spraw i sal sądowych. В реальности, суд по уголовным делам может продолжаться много дней, и обычно не представляет для зрителей интересного зрелища. Показать его как есть по телевидению невозможно. В некоторых странах, например, в США, съёмка в уголовном суде запрещена законом. В Германии видеосъёмка и фотографирование в суде разрешены только до начала слушания. В РФ разрешено вести аудиозапись открытого судебного заседания, однако, видеосъёмку и фотографирование можно осуществлять только с разрешения председательствующего в судебном заседании судьи, заявив соответствующее ходатайство.
