- El Sender de la Costa Sud-oest (en anglès: South West Coast Path) és un dels senders de gran recorregut més llargs de la Gran Bretanya.Té 1.014 km des de , Somerset, i segueix la costa de Devon i de Cornualla, fins al port de Poole, Dorset.Té molts desnivells, ja que passa pels estuaris de molts rius, platges i penya-segats, per això algunes parts són tot un desafiament.Passa per molts indrets amb estatus especial o protegit (Parcs Nacionals, etc.), i per dos indrets designats com Patrimoni de la Humanitat: la costa de Dorset i Devon est, anomenada la Costa Juràssica (designada el 2001), i el paisatge miner de Cornualla i Devon oest (designat el 2007). El sender té el seu origen en els camins de ronda dels guardacostes que vigilaven els fars i els contrabandistes.Actualment és un important atractiu turístic per a les zones per on passa, ja que el dret anglès dona dret de pas pels camins històrics encara que passin per propietat privada.La South West Coast Path Association és una entitat benèfica que fa campanyes per la promoció i la conservació del sender. Se extiende por 1.014 km desde Minehead, en Somerset, a lo largo de la costa de Devon y Cornualles, hasta el Puerto de Poole, en Dorset. Debido a que su altura asciende y desciende en la boca de los ríos, es además uno de los más desafiantes. Muchos de los paisajes que atraviesa el sendero tienen un status especial, ya sean Parques Nacionales o . El sendero atraviesa además dos lugares declarados Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco: la costa de Devon y Dorset, conocida como Costa Jurásica, fue designada en 2001, y el Paisaje minero de Cornualles y el oeste de Devon, en 2007.

- The South West Coast Path is England's longest waymarked long-distance footpath and a National Trail. It stretches for 630 miles (1,014 km), running from Minehead in Somerset, along the coasts of Devon and Cornwall, to Poole Harbour in Dorset. Because it rises and falls with every river mouth, it is also one of the more challenging trails. The total height climbed has been calculated to be 114,931 ft (35,031 m), almost four times the height of Mount Everest. It has been voted 'Britain's Best Walking route' twice in a row by readers of The Ramblers' Walk magazine, and regularly features in lists of the world's best walks. The final section of the path was designated as a National Trail in 1978. Many of the landscapes which the South West Coast Path crosses have special status, either as a national park or one of the heritage coasts. The path passes through two World Heritage Sites: the Dorset and East Devon Coast, known as the Jurassic Coast, was designated in 2001, and the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape in 2007. In the 1990s it was thought that the path brought £150 million into the area each year, but new research in 2003 indicated that it generated around £300 million a year in total, which could support more than 7,500 jobs. This research also recorded that 27.6% of visitors to the region came because of the Path, and they spent £136 million in a year. Local people took 23 million walks on the Path and spent a further £116 million, and other visitors contributed the remainder. A further study in 2005 estimated this figure to have risen to around £300 million. Following investment through the Rural Development Programme for England, more detailed research was undertaken in 2012, and this found the annual spend by walkers to have risen to £439 million which sustains 9771 full-time equivalent jobs (en)
- South West Coast Path – szlak turystyczny będący jednym ze szlaków National Trails, znajdujący się w południowo-zachodniej Anglii o długości 1014 km, prowadzący z Minehead w hrabstwie Somerset wzdłuż wybrzeża Kanału Bristolskiego, Oceanu Atlantyckiego i kanału La Manche do Poole w hrabstwie Dorset. Jest najdłuższym szlakiem turystycznym pieszym Wielkiej Brytanii. W związku z licznymi wzniesieniami i obniżeniami terenu w miejscach licznych ujść rzek szlak uważany jest za trudny. Całkowita zmiana poziomów na szlaku wynosi 35 051 m, co daje czterokrotną wysokość bezwzględną Mount Everestu. Najwyższym wzniesieniem na szlaku jest Great Hangman koło Combe Martin, wznoszący się na wysokość 318 m n.p.m. Najniższy punkt – poziom morza.
