- Conó (Conon Κόνων) fou un escriptor grec del segle i aC, autor del llibre Διηγήδεις, Narracions, dirigit al rei Arquelau de Capadòcia (Arquelau Filopàtor) on es relata la fundació de les colònies gregues. Era contemporani de Nicolau de Damasc, i Dió Crisòstom parla d'ell. Les seves cinquanta Narracions es refereixen a temes sobretot mitològics, però molt variats i originals, i inclou algunes faules milèsies, unes breus narracions realistes i divertides de contingut eròtic o aventurer narrades en primera persona i amb un estil col·loquial. Les Narracions es conserven gràcies a un epítom que en va fer el patriarca Foci. (ca)

- Conon (Greek: Κόνων, gen.: Κόνωνος) was a Greek grammarian and mythographer of the age of Augustus (who lived 63 BC – 14 AD), the author of a work titled Διηγήσεις (Narrations), addressed to Archelaus Philopator, king of Cappadocia. It was a collection of fifty narratives relating to the mythical and heroic period, and especially the foundation of colonies. An epitome of the work was preserved in the Bibliotheca of Photius, the 9th-century patriarch of Constantinople. Photius commends Conon's Attic style, and remarks that Nicolaus Damascenus borrowed much from him. There are separate editions of this abstract by Gale, by Teucher, and Kanne. Dion Chrysostom mentions a rhetorician of this name, who may possibly be identical. (en)

La colección estaba dedicada a Arquelao Filópator, rey de Capadocia, y se puede fechar entre el 36 y el 17 a. C. Se conservan gracias al resumen de ellas transmitido en la Bibliotheca de epítomes escrita por el patriarca Focio. Dion Crisóstomo hace mención de un retórico llamado Conón que posiblemente sea el mismo. El escritor de la Ilustración española Cándido María Trigueros tradujo al español en 1768 las historias de Conón, versión que permanece inédita. U. Hij wordt herinnerd als auteur van de Vertellingen (Διηγήσεις / Diegeseis), een verloren collectie van vijftig verhalen over de mythische en heroïsche tijd, in het bijzonder de stichting van de koloniën. Het werk, opgedragen aan koning Archelaos Filopator van Cappadocië, is bewaard in een samenvatting opgenomen in de 9e-eeuwse Bibliotheke van Fotios, de patriarch van Constantinopel. Fotios roemde Konon om zijn Attische stijl en merkte op dat Nikolaos van Damascus veel van hem leende.
