- علم النفس التدريبي (بالإنجليزية: Coaching psychology) هو أحد مجالات علم النفس التطبيقي الذي يطبق النظريات والمفاهيم النفسية في مجال التدريب. هدفه هو زيادة الأداء والإنجازات والرفاهية لدى الأفراد والفرق والمؤسسات من خلال استخدام الأساليب المبنية على الأدلة القائمة على البحث العلمي. يتأثر علم نفس التدريبي بالنظريات في المجالات النفسية المختلفة، مثل علم النفس الإنساني وعلم النفس الإيجابي ونظرية التعلم وعلم النفس الاجتماعي. بدأ علم النفس التدريبي رسميًا كفرع من علم النفس في عام 2000 عندما تم تقديم أول دورة في علم النفس التدريبي في جامعة سيدني. منذ ذلك الحين، تم تشكيل مجتمعات مكرسة لهذا الفرع من علم النفس مثل المجموعة المهتمة في علم النفس التدريبي (IGCP) والمجموعة الخاصة في علم النفس التدريبي (SGCP). المجلات العلمية مثل (the International Coaching Psychology Review) و (Coaching Psychology International) تنشر بحثًا في علم النفس التدريبي. تتراوح تطبيقات علم نفس التدريب من التدريب الرياضي والتعليمي إلى القيادة وتدريب الشركات. - Coaching psychology is a field of applied psychology that applies psychological theories and concepts to the practice of coaching. Its aim is to increase performance, self-actualization, achievement and well-being in individuals, teams and organisations by utilising evidence-based methods grounded in scientific research. Coaching psychology is influenced by theories in various psychological fields, such as humanistic psychology, positive psychology, learning theory and social psychology. Coaching psychology formally began as psychological sub-discipline in 2000 when the first "coaching psychology" course was offered at the University of Sydney. Since then, learned societies dedicated to coaching psychology have been formed, and peer-reviewed journals publish research in coaching psychology. Applications of coaching psychology range from athletic and educational coaching to leadership and corporate coaching. (en)
