- Der Club Atlético Atlanta, meist nur kurz Atlanta genannt, ist ein 1904 gegründeter Fußballverein aus dem Viertel Villa Crespo in der argentinischen Hauptstadt Buenos Aires. 1931 begründete Atlanta zusammen mit 17 weiteren Vereinen den professionellen Spielbetrieb im argentinischen Fußball. Der Klub war Teil der neugeschaffenen Liga Argentina de Football, die anfänglich noch ohne Sanktionierung durch die FIFA auskommen musste. 1934 fusionierte der Verein kurzfristig mit Argentinos Juniors zu Atlanta-Argentinos Juniors. Die Verbindung wurde aber bereits nach dem 25. Spieltag wieder aufgelöst und die Saison wurde von Argentinos zu Ende geführt. Atlanta wurde für die Saison 1935 wieder als eigenständiger Verein zum Spielbetrieb in der ersten Liga zugelassen. Als Sieger der Copa Suecia wird der Verein neben CA River Plate vom Verband als Meister von 1958 geführt. Atlanta hat zwischen 1931 und 1984 insgesamt 45 Spieljahre in der ersten Liga verbracht. Seit 1985 ist der Verein aber vornehmlich nur mehr in der dritten Spielklasse, der Primera B, anzutreffen. Die Vereinslegende besagt, dass der Vereinsname von der US-amerikanischen Stadt Atlanta herrührt, die in der Gründungszeit von einem Erdbeben heimgesucht wurde und daher in aller Munde war. Atlanta wird auch „Los Bohemios“ oder „El Bohemio“ genannt, da die Mannschaft bis zur Fertigstellung des eigenen Stadions 1960 seine Heimspiele in häufig wechselnden Spielstätten anderer Vereine austrug. Traditionell besteht zu den Chacarita Juniors aus einem Nachbarviertel eine große Rivalität. Im Laufe der Zeit entwickelten sich auch die All Boys zu einem besonderen Rivalen. (de)

- El Club Atlético Atlanta es una institución social, cultural y deportiva argentina, radicada en el barrio de Villa Crespo, Buenos Aires. Fue fundado el 12 de octubre de 1904. Actualmente disputa la Primera Nacional, segunda categoría del fútbol argentino. Comenzó su participación futbolística en 1906, año en el que se afilió a la Tercera División de la Asociación del Fútbol Argentino. En 1907 se inscribió en Segunda División, obteniendo el ascenso a la máxima categoría en 1912. Fue uno de los clubes fundadores de la Liga Argentina de Football en 1931 y hasta 1984 participó en 45 temporadas de la Primera División. A lo largo de su historia, considerando tanto su etapa amateur como profesional, ha logrado, en diferentes categorías, 7 títulos oficiales (5 campeonatos locales de Segunda y Tercera División y 2 copas nacionales). Con la obtención de la Copa Suecia de 1958 se convirtió en el segundo club de la ciudad de Buenos Aires y fuera de los cinco grandes del fútbol argentino, en obtener un torneo oficial organizado por la AFA entre clubes de Primera División. Si bien su actividad principal es el fútbol, el club posee varias secciones deportivas entre las que destacan el futsal, el tenis de mesa perteneciente a la primera división A, el muay thai, y el boxeo, entre otros.
