The school has three special events each year: the school carol service held in Christ Church in Bristol, around the end of the Christmas term Speeches, which is held in a large marquee, where speeches are given about the year. Girls are also presented academic prizes and commendations; Rose Day, the most noted event, which is held in Bristol Cathedral. Hundreds of people attend and a school hymn is sung. Afternoon tea is then served at the school for parents, and pupils past and present. School facilities include a sports centre, swimming pool, multimedia language centre and two IT labs.
