Christchurch is a parliamentary constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. Centred on the town of Christchurch in Dorset, it elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. The constituency was created in 1983, from parts of the previously existing Christchurch and Lymington, Dorset North and New Forest constituencies.
