Chris Hakin (born 2 September 1986, Darlington) is a British radio presenter who currently works for the independent local radio station Minster Northallerton in North East England, owned by The Local Radio Company. He began his career into radio when aged 13 at Darlington's Alpha 103.2 as a studio/station assistant. His first ever radio show on Alpha was on New Years 2003, presenting the 2003 New Years Eve Party show. In the summer of October 2003, Chris had also presented RSL's for Radio Hartlepool. In April 2004 Chris was taken on by Sunderland's Sun FM as a Programme Assistant and also did the NightFreaks on Sun FM. He moved on to present the Weekend Breakfasts on January 2005.
