- Partia Centrum (English: Centre Party) was a centrist, moderately conservative political party in Poland. Established on 3 April 2004, its founding declaration proclaimed a "necessity to take immediate steps towards repairing the state and to radically change the style of politics." The party's platform could be described as centrist with evident references to the tradition of Solidarity and Catholic social teaching. The party's founding members and leadership were mostly from the ranks of the defunct party Solidarity Electoral Action (AWS), which held the government between 1997 and 2001, and other conservative to centrist groups, with some coming from the more liberal Freedom Union (UW). Although nominally led by , formerly minister of economic affairs in the government of Jerzy Buzek, the main figurehead of the party was its honorary chairman and presidential candidate, senator Zbigniew Religa. Religa was leading in opinion polls until July but he withdrew on September 2 and asked his supporters to vote for the liberal Donald Tusk, his party did not enter the Sejm in the 2005 early elections with its poll results not exceeding 5%. The party was deregistered in 2008 after not filing its 2007 financial statements. (en)
- Le parti du centre (partia Centrum) est un parti politique polonais dirigé par un ancien ministre de l'économie, . Fondé en avril 2004, ce parti politique s'est engagé dans une ligne conservatrice modérée, son programme se rattachant par de nombreux points aux idées chrétiennes-sociales. Les membres de ce parti proviennent pour l'essentiel de la défunte Alliance électorale Solidarité (AWS) (Akcja Wyborcza Solidarność), ainsi que d'autres partis conservateurs. Si le parti est dirigé par Janusz Steinhoff, sa figure la plus connue est Zbigniew Religa, candidat à la présidentielle en 2005. Il s'est désisté au second tour, appelant à voter pour Donald Tusk. Lors des élections législatives de la même année, le parti du centre n'est pas parvenu à atteindre le quorum (5 %) et n'est donc pas représenté au parlement. Le parti a été dissous en 2008. Ses membres ont rejoint majoritairement la Plate-forme civique (PO) ou le Droit et justice (PiS). Certains ont participé à une relance du Parti conservateur-populaire.

- De Centrumpartij (Pools: Partia Centrum) was een gematigd-conservatieve politieke partij, die van 2004 tot 2008 in Polen heeft bestaan. Leider van de partij was de beroemde cardioloog Zbigniew Religa, die van 2005 tot 2007 de Poolse minister van was. De Poolse Centrumpartij werd op 3 april 2004 opgericht op initiatief van twee bekende senatoren: scenarioschrijver en de cardioloog Zbigniew Religa. Doel was "alle nodige actie te ondernemen om de staat te herstellen en een radicale verandering te bewerkstelligen in de stijl van politiek bedrijven". De partij kwam in de plaats van de (het laatste restant van de coalitie Verkiezingsactie Solidariteit, die tot 2001 aan de macht was geweest maar daarna uit elkaar was gevallen) en de enkele maanden eerder opgeheven conservatieve partij SKL-RNP. De centrale figuur binnen de partij was Zbigniew Religa, die door de partij naar voren geschoven werd als kandidaat in de presidentsverkiezingen van 2005 en in de peilingen aanvankelijk hoge ogen gooide. Op 2 september trok hij zich niettemin terug uit de race. Bij de parlementsverkiezingen kort daarop behaalde de partij slechts 0,19% van de stemmen. Na deze mislukking raakte de partij in verval, al werd Religa zelf minister van in het kabinet-Marcinkiewicz en het kabinet-Kaczyński. Pogingen tot een fusie met het Burgerplatform mislukten en in 2008 hield de partij uiteindelijk op te bestaan. Een deel van de leden kwam terecht in de inmiddels opnieuw opgerichte SKL, anderen werden lid van Recht en Rechtvaardigheid (PiS) of het Burgerplatform. (nl)
