It encompasses just 1.7 square miles (4.4 km2), with a population of 12,000 people at the 1990 federal census. According to 2000 federal census data, it served a resident population of 9,923 people. By 2010, the cistrict's population declined further to 9,729 people. In 2009, Bristol Borough School District residents’ per capita income was $17,198, while the median family income was $44,517.
