Botellita de Jeréz is a Mexican rock band, formed in Mexico City in 1982. In their song "Pinche Malinche", they created the famous phrase Todo lo naco es chido (All the naco is cool), trying to re-vindicate the popular culture of the lower socio-economic classes. Botellita de Jeréz pioneered a lot of trends of the contemporary art of Mexico and United States, since it incorporated a lot of from the popular use as the lucha libre, popular dances and slang, wich is now commonly used among the upper classes as well.
