- Στην καλαθοσφαίριση με τον όρο ομαδικά φάουλ εννοούμε τα συνολικά φάουλ που κάνει μια ομάδα σε μια μπασκετική περίοδο. Μόλις κάποια ομάδα συμπληρώσει 5 ομαδικά φάουλ, η αντίπαλη ομάδα πάει αυτομάτως στην γραμμή ελευθέρων βολών και εκτελεί 2 βολές. Από εκεί και μετά, με κάθε φάουλ δίνονται 2 βολές μέχρι το τέλος της περιόδου. (el)
- In the sport of basketball, the bonus situation (also called the penalty situation) occurs when one team accumulates a requisite number of fouls, which number varies depending on the level of play. When one team has committed the requisite number of fouls, each subsequent foul results in the opposing team's taking free throws regardless of the type of foul committed (i.e., whether or not the foul was a shooting foul). Teams under the limit are commonly referred to as having fouls to give, and thus they can try to disrupt their opponents without being penalized free throws. Jeśli w jednej kwarcie drużyna popełni 4 faule, każdy kolejny jest karany rzutami wolnymi, zamiast otrzymaniem piłki do wprowadzenia z autu. Faule popełnione w przerwie meczu, są zaliczane jako faule popełnione w kwarcie następującej bezpośrednio po tej przerwie. Faule popełnione w dogrywce, traktowane są jak faule popełnione w IV kwarcie meczu. Faul osobisty popełniony przez zawodnika drużyny mającej aktualnie żywą piłkę lub mającej prawo do piłki, to taki faul należy ukarać wprowadzeniem piłki z autu przez przeciwnika. Jeśli drużyna popełniła 5 fauli, na stoliku sędziowskim po stronie bliższej danej drużyny pojawia się marker fauli drużyny. (pl)
