- Blue Flag is a military aviation exercise held by the Israeli Air Force. It first took place in November 2013 at Ovda Air Force Base in Israel. The exercise, which included the participation of several foreign air forces, is aimed at expanding international cooperation. Plans on making "Blue Flag" a biennial event were realised in 2015 with another "Blue Flag" exercise in which the air forces of the United States, Greece and Poland also participated. The goal of the Blue Flag training exercise is to simulate extreme combat scenarios and coalition flights as realistically as possible. In 2017 the exercise hosted air forces from the United States of America, Poland, Italy and Greece—and for the first time India, France and Germany participated as well. The Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom took part in Blue Flag 2021, which was the first time they have openly trained in Israeli airspace. (en)
- Blue Flag (en español, Bandera azul) es un ejercicio de aviación militar bienal de carácter internacional organizado por la Fuerza Aérea de Israel (FAI). Su propósito es simular situaciones de combate en una multitud de escenarios utilizando avanzados sistemas de armas, principalmente los aviones de caza. Dadas las diferencias en tácticas de combate, experiencia, ubicación geográfica y las propias aeronaves, el ejercicio brinda a los pilotos de los países participantes la oportunidad de aprender de sus pares nuevas tácticas y de ejercer el vuelo sobre terreno diferente al que acostumbran. La experiencia combativa de la FAI ha sido un aliciente para la participación (activa o como observadores) de muchos países. El objetivo estratégico de Blue Flag, más allá de estrechar los lazos entre los países participantes, es ejercer la colaboración militar ante posibles futuros conflictos en los que podrían ser aliados. Niebieska Flaga) – zapoczątkowane w 2013 roku przez Izrael międzynarodowe ćwiczenia wojskowe z udziałem sił powietrznych, odbywające się na pustyni Negew w bazie lotniczej Owda i nad Morzem Śródziemnym. Polegają one na symulacji scenariuszy wojennych, wymianie doświadczeń i rozwijaniu współpracy wojskowej. Do tej pory ćwiczenia odbywały się co dwa lata, w 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 i 2021 roku. Są one uznawane za największe międzynarodowe ćwiczenia w Izraelu. Uczestniczyli w nich piloci US Air Force, polskich Sił Powietrznych, sił powietrznych Włoch, Grecji, Niemiec, Francji i Wielkiej Brytanii, a także obserwatorzy i attache wojskowi z różnych państw.
