- Un corró d'escalfament, o corró ciclista és un dispositiu d'entrenament en bicicleta que disposa d'un o més corrons, i que permet la pràctica del ciclisme en interiors, permetent a la roda posterior o a totes dues rodes moure's sense avançar. S'acostuma a utilitzar per a escalfar abans de les competicions o per a entrenar quan les condicions climàtiques impedixen eixir en bici a l'exterior. - Bicycle rollers are a type of bicycle trainer that make it possible to ride a bicycle indoors without moving forward. However, unlike other types of bicycle trainers, rollers do not attach to the bicycle frame, and the rider must maintain balance on the rollers while training. Bicycle rollers normally consist of three cylinders, drums, or "rollers" (two for the rear wheel and one for the front), on top of which the bicycle rides. A belt connects the middle roller to the front roller, causing the front wheel of the bicycle to spin when the bicycle is pedaled. The spacing of bicycle rollers can usually be adjusted to match the bicycle's wheelbase. Generally, the front roller is adjusted to be slightly ahead of the hub of the front wheel. (en)
- Als freie Rolle, auch freie, ungebremste Rolle oder (engl. und als Produktbezeichnung) Rollertrack bezeichnet man ein Trainingsmittel im Radsport zur Simulation des Radfahrens, ohne sich dabei von der Stelle bewegen zu müssen. Ausdrücke wie Trainingsrolle und Rollentrainer, die früher Synonyme für die freie Rolle waren, werden hingegen heute als Sammelbegriff für verschiedene Geräte, insbesondere auch solche mit einer Arretierung des Fahrrades, verwendet. Die freie Rolle besteht aus drei Metall- oder Kunststoffrollen von etwa 50 cm Breite, die in ein Metallgestell derart frei drehbar eingebaut sind, dass ein darauf gestelltes Rennrad mit dem Hinterrad sicher zwischen den beiden hinteren Rollen und mit dem Vorderrad kurz hinter der vorderen Rolle Platz findet (vgl. Abbildungen). Im Gegensatz zur heute üblichen Trainingsrolle wird das Fahrrad nicht befestigt, sondern nur aufgestellt und behält ein dynamisches Gleichgewicht aufgrund der Kreiselkräfte der sich drehenden Laufräder und der Lenkbewegungen des Fahrers.
