Bageshwori Dutt Chataut (Nepali: बागेश्वरी दत्त चटौत) is a Nepalese politician, belonging to the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist). He contested the 1999 election in the Dadeldhura-1 constituency, challenging Nepali Congress candidate Sher Bahadur Deuba. Chataut came second with 7840 votes against 28651 for Deuba. Prior to contesting the 1999 election he was a senior government official, Chataut served as Director General of the Immigration Department. As of 1997 he served as Chief District Officer in Jhapa District.
