- Les eleccions legislatives del 1962 a Àustria, al Consell Nacional van ser el 18 de novembre de 1962. Els populars foren la força més votada i Alfons Gorbach fou nomenat canceller. (ca)
- Parliamentary elections were held in Austria on 18 November 1962. The result was a victory for the Austrian People's Party, which won 81 of the 165 seats. Voter turnout was 94%. Although the People's Party had come up only two seats short of an outright majority, Chancellor Alfons Gorbach (who had succeeded Julius Raab a year earlier) retained the grand coalition with the Socialists under Vice-Chancellor Bruno Pittermann. - Die Nationalratswahl in Österreich 1962 fand am 18. November 1962 statt und war die zehnte in der Geschichte Österreichs. Stimmen- und Mandatstärkste Partei wurde die ÖVP von Bundeskanzler Alfons Gorbach. Mit leichten Verlusten landete die SPÖ von Bruno Pittermann auf dem zweiten Platz. Als „dritte Kraft“ konnte sich auch 1962 die FPÖ mit dem ehemaligen SS-Obersturmführer Friedrich Peter als Spitzenkandidaten behaupten, die jedoch ebenfalls leichte Stimmenverluste hinnehmen musste. Auch die KPÖ verlor weiter Stimmen und erreichte zum zweiten Mal nach der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus kein Grundmandat. Wahlberechtigt waren 4 805 351 Menschen. Die Wahlbeteiligung betrug 92,73 Prozent (1959: 92,90 Prozent). (de)

- De zesde verkiezingen van de Nationalrat, het parlement van Oostenrijk, vonden op 18 november 1962 plaats. De verkiezingen vonden een halfjaar eerder plaats dan gepland, opdat een nieuwe regering voldoende de tijd zou hebben om in het jaar 1963 over associatieverdrag met de EEG te onderhandelen. Bij de verkiezingen ging de christendemocratische Österreichische Volkspartei ligt vooruit, terwijl de sociaaldemocratische Sozialistische Partei Österreichs een klein verlies incasseerde. (nl)
