- النواة المقوسة أو القوسية (بالإنجليزية: Arcuate nucleus) وتعرف كذلك باسم النواة الوطائية المقوسة هي تجمع للعصبونات في الجزء الوسط-سفلي لتحت المهاد، وهي مجاورة للبطين الثالث والبارزة الناصفة. تشمل النواة المقوسة العديد من جمهرات العصبونات المتنوعة التي تساعد على إنجاز مختلف الوظائف العصبية الصماوية والفيسيولوجية مثل: العصبونات العصبية الصماوية، العصبونات الممتدة مركزيا، والخلايا النجمية. جمهرات العصبونات المتواجدة في النواة المقوسة مبنية على الهرمونات التي تفرزها أو تتفاعل معها وهي مسؤولة عن وظيفة تحت المهاد مثل: تنظيم الهرمونات المحررة من الغدة النخامية أو إفراز هرموناتها الخاصة. العصبونات في هذه المنطقة مسؤولة أيضا على تكامل المعلومة وتوفير مدخلات لأنوية أخرى في تحت المهاد أو مُدخلات لمناطق خارج هذه المنطقة من الدماغ. هذه العصبونات المولَّدة من الجزء البطني من الظهارة المحيطة بالبطين أثناء التخلق الجنيني -المتموضعة ظهريا في تحت المهاد- تصبح جزءا من الوسط-ظهري لمنطقة تحت المهاد. تعتمد وظيفة النواة المقوسة على تنوع عصبوناتها لكن لوظيفتها الأساسية دور في الاستتباب. للنواة المقوسة عدة أدوار فيسيولوجية لها علاقة بتناول الطعام، الأيض، الخصوبة والتنظيم القلبي الوعائي. - Der Nucleus arcuatus (lat. Nucleus „Kern“, arcuatus „gebogen“), auch Nucleus infundibularis, ist ein Kern des Hypothalamus. Er liegt im Tuber cinereum hinter der Eminentia mediana am Boden des dritten Hirnventrikels und gehört zu den kleinzelligen Kerngebieten des Hypothalamus.Der Nucleus arcuatus produziert Releasing- und Inhibiting-Hormone. Besonders wichtig ist dieser Kern auch bei der Regelung des Appetits und des Wachstums. Der Appetit wird durch die im Nucleus arcuatus befindende anorexigene Peptide αMSH (α-Melanocyten-stimulierendes Hormon) und CART (Cocaine- and amphetamineregulated Transcript) gehemmt und durch die orexigene Peptide NPY (Neuropeptid Y) und AgRP stimuliert. Diese Neuropeptide werden direkt proportional mit dem Leptinpegel im Blut ausgeschüttet.Wachstum wird durch die Ausschüttung von GhRH beeinflusst. - The arcuate nucleus of the hypothalamus (also known as ARH, ARC, or infundibular nucleus) is an aggregation of neurons in the mediobasal hypothalamus, adjacent to the third ventricle and the median eminence. The arcuate nucleus includes several important and diverse populations of neurons that help mediate different neuroendocrine and physiological functions, including neuroendocrine neurons, centrally projecting neurons, and astrocytes. The populations of neurons found in the arcuate nucleus are based on the hormones they secrete or interact with and are responsible for hypothalamic function, such as regulating hormones released from the pituitary gland or secreting their own hormones. Neurons in this region are also responsible for integrating information and providing inputs to other nuclei in the hypothalamus or inputs to areas outside this region of the brain. These neurons, generated from the ventral part of the periventricular epithelium during embryonic development, locate dorsally in the hypothalamus, becoming part of the ventromedial hypothalamic region. The function of the arcuate nucleus relies on its diversity of neurons, but its central role is involved in homeostasis. The arcuate nucleus provides many physiological roles involved in feeding, metabolism, fertility, and cardiovascular regulation. (en)
