- Andrew Sears is an American computer scientist. He is a professor and dean of the College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) at The Pennsylvania State University. His research explores issues related to human-computer interaction including mobile computing, speech recognition, information technology accessibility, and situationally-induced impairments and disabilities. He earned his B.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland Department of Computer Science in College Park.
