Andre Ptaszynski (born 1954) is a British theatre and television producer. He studied English at Jesus College, Oxford. He was appointed chief executive of Really Useful Group in December 2005 having been chief executive of the Really Useful Theatre Group. He has produced award-winning musicals such as Tommy and Chicago.He produced four BBC television programmes with independent production company Pola Jones. The first was Tygo Road, starring Kevin McNally, which lasted six episodes in 1990. The next project was Joking Apart, a bittersweet comedy by Steven Moffat about divorce. Like Tygo Road, the show was developed from the Comic Asides series of pilots. The producer has contributed to the DVD audio commentary for the second series.
