- Ambri Airport (ICAO: LSPM) is a Swiss general aviation airport. It located near the village of Ambrì, in the municipality of Quinto, canton of Ticino. Ambri serves the surrounding area and is home to a gliding school, a helicopter base and has sufficiency for VFR flying. The airport is situated in the steep-sided alpine valley of the Ticino river. It is flanked to the north by the A2 motorway and the river, and to the south by the Gotthard railway and the villages of Ambri and Piotta. (en)

Ambri sirve a la zona de los alrededores y es el hogar de una escuela de vuelo sin motor, una base de helicópteros y cuenta con suficiencia para vuelos VFR. El aeropuerto está situado en un valle alpino empinado del río Tesino. Está flanqueado al norte por la autopista A2 y el río, y al sur por la línea de ferrocarril del San Gotardo y los pueblos de Ambri y Piotta. Ambri comenzó como una base de la Fuerza Aérea Suiza, construido durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Fue el hogar del escuadrón de caza 8, cuya flota incluía los EKW C-35, Messerschmitt Bf 109, de Havilland Vampire, de Havilland Venom y el Hawker Hunter.
