- The AmEagle American Eaglet was a highly unorthodox ultralight sailplane marketed in the U.S. for homebuilding. It was a one-seat, high-wing braced monoplane that carried an inverted V-tail on a long boom extending from a pod-like fuselage. Intended for self-launching, it was equipped with a McCulloch go-kart engine and a folding propeller behind the cabin. Its first flight was on 19 November 1975, and by 1978, at least 250 sets of plans had been sold, with 12 aircraft reportedly completed. (en)
- L’AM Eagle American Eaglet est un planeur américain léger destiné à la construction amateur. Dessiné par Larry Haig, ce monoplace, dont le premier vol remonte à 1975, est reconnaissable à son fuselage, formé d’une courte nacelle en fibre de verre prolongée par un poutre en aluminium supportant un empennage en V inversé. L’aile est réalisée en fibre de verre et toile enduite. Reposant sur une roue escamotable, il est doté de ‘spoilerons’ contrôlant à la fois le taux de descente et le roulis. Au moins 26 exemplaires construits.
