- Althannové (též německy Althann, nebo Althan, Altham či Altheim) jsou šlechtický rod původem z Dolního Bavorska, od 16. století usazený v Rakousku, později s významnými majetky na Moravě, v Čechách a Kladském hrabství, ale také v Prusku (dnes v Polsku) a Uhrách. Řada členů rodu dosáhla vysokého postavení ve státní správě, armádě nebo církevní hierarchii, na českém území je s jejich jménem nejvíce spojen zámek Vranov nad Dyjí. (cs)
