- All Tomorrow's Parties je britský hudební festival. Založil ho Barry Hogan v roce 1999. Pojmenován byl podle skladby „All Tomorrow's Parties“ od skupiny The Velvet Underground. Za dobu existence zde vystoupili například Cheap Trick (2002), LCD Soundsystem (2004), Patti Smith (2007), Dinosaur Jr (2008) nebo Yann Tiersen (2012) a mnoho dalších. V dubnu 2016 měl na festivalu vystoupit velšský hudebník John Cale, jeden z členů skupiny The Velvet Underground, podle jejíž písně byla událost pojmenována. Jeho koncert byl však kvůli organizátorům zrušen. Krátce před konáním festivalu rovněž odstoupil Roky Erickson. Cale měl toho roku vystoupit na dvou verzích festivalu. První proběhla bez něj a dalších hudebníků. Druhá byla celá zrušena. (cs)
- All Tomorrow's Parties was an organisation based in London that promoted music festivals, concerts and records throughout the world for over ten years. It was founded by Barry Hogan in 2001 in preparation for the first All Tomorrow's Parties Festival, the line-up of which was picked by Mogwai and took place at Pontins, Camber Sands, England. Named after the song "All Tomorrow's Parties" by the Velvet Underground, the festival exhibited a tendency towards post-rock, indie rock, avant-garde music, and underground hip hop, along with more traditional rock fare presented in smaller venues than typical stadium performances. It was at first a sponsorship-free festival where the organisers and artists stay in the same accommodation as the fans. It claimed to set itself apart from festivals like Reading or Glastonbury by staying intimate, non-corporate and fan-friendly. Another difference was the line-ups being chosen by significant bands or artists, resulting in unorthodox events which often combined acts of all sizes, eras, and genres. (en)

Het festival concentreert zich voornamelijk op avant-garde popmuziek en stelt per editie een bekende artiest of band als externe curator aan die geen commercieel belang heeft over de opbrengsten van het festival, waarmee een neutrale anti-commerciële insteek wordt nagestreefd. Het festival bestaat uit twee weekenden: één samengesteld door de curerende artiest en het weekend voorafgaand een programma samengesteld door de organisatie zelf, samen met de bezoekers zelf die aanvragen mogen indienen. Curatoren in het verleden waren Matt Groening, Shellac, Blonde Redhead, Mogwai, Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, Tortoise, Pitchfork Media en Vincent Gallo. De oorspronkelijke editie vindt plaats in mei en trekt ongeveer 40.000 bezoekers, gevolgd door een editie in december. Er vinden naast de festivals in Minehead ook edities plaats in New York en Australië. Op het Primavera Sound festival heeft ATP een vaste programmeringsplaats met een zogenoemd ATP-podium. De festivals vinden ongeveer in dezelfde tijd van het jaar plaats en zodoende treden veel van de bands die in Minehead spelen een week later op op Primavera. Vincent Moon maakte, in opdracht van Warp Films, twee documentaires over een tweetal edities, de mei 2007-editie van Minehead en de december 2008-editie van New York. In 2009 kwam er tevens een verzameldocumentaire uit vanwege het tienjarig bestaan van het festival. Deze film werd uitgegeven door Warp Records en bevatte naast de beelden van Moon ook beelden van onder andere Reuben Sutherland. (nl)
