- Alenka v říši divů je britský němý film z roku 1903. Režiséry jsou (1873–1953) a (1876–1919). Film trval zhruba 12 minut, ale dochovalo se jen zhruba 8 minut. Film se natáčel převážně v Port Meadow v Oxfordu a premiéru měl 17. října 1903. Film je považován za první filmovou adaptaci románu Alenka v říši divů (1865) od Lewise Carolla a za nejdelší britský film své doby. (cs)
- Alice in Wonderland ist ein britischer Film von Cecil Hepworth und Percy Stow aus dem Jahre 1903. Der Film basiert auf dem gleichnamigen Buch von Lewis Carroll und ist die erste „Alice im Wunderland“-Verfilmung überhaupt. Mit 800 Fuß Länge ist er gleichzeitig der längste bis dahin in England produzierte Film. Aufgrund der Länge wurde der Film oftmals nur szenenweise und nicht komplett verkauft. So wurde eine Szene ausgewählt und gezeigt. Insgesamt bestand der Film aus 16 Szenen, heute sind nur noch 14 erhalten und im British Film Institute archiviert. Hepworth bestand darauf, dass die Figuren denen des Originalillustrators John Tenniel so weit wie möglich glichen. Der Film wurde auf einer kleinen Holzbühne, die zu der Villa der Produktionsgemeinschaft gehörte, gedreht. Die Außenszenen entstanden in den nahe gelegenen Gärten von Mount Felix. (de)

The British Film Institute (BFI) partially restored the movie and its original film tinting and released it in 2010. According to BFI, the original film ran about 12 minutes; the restoration runs 9 minutes and 35 seconds. At the beginning of the restoration, it states that this is the first movie adaptation of Lewis Carroll's 1865 children's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. It was filmed mostly at Port Meadow in Oxford. The film is memorable for its use of special effects, including Alice's shrinking in the Hall of Many Doors, and in her large size, stuck inside the White Rabbit's home and reaching for help through a window. It is now available from several sources, and is included as a bonus feature on a 1996 BBC DVD. It is also included in the Vintage Cinema: Experiments in early film 1900s DVD. (en)

- Alice in Wonderland è un cortometraggio muto del 1903, diretto e prodotto da Cecil M. Hepworth e Percy Stow.Il film è la prima trasposizione cinematografica del romanzo per bambini Le avventure di Alice nel Paese delle Meraviglie (Alice's Adventures in Wonderland). Protagonista è l'allora quattordicenne May Clark, esperta attrice bambina della Hepworth Manufacturing Co. Il cast include anche molti altri bambini recitanti nel ruolo di carte da gioco. Per il periodo in cui è stato realizzato, il film contiene ottimi effetti speciali, come per esempio il rimpicciolimento nella Sala delle Molte Porte di Alice, e la trasformazione in gigante di quest'ultima nella scena in cui si trova all'interno della casa del coniglio e cerca aiuto attraverso una finestra. Nel film fa la sua prima comparsa anche il cane Blair, destinato a diventare negli anni seguenti la prima stella canina del cinema, come protagonista di Rescued by Rover (1905) e The Dog Outwits the Kidnapper (1908).
