- Alfredo Garasini (Buenos Aires, June 1, 1897 – Santa Fe, January 6, 1950), was an Argentine footballer who played as forward. Garasini spent most of his career at Boca Juniors, when he raised from the youth divisions. Garasini's performances in Boca Juniors were highlighted by both, fans and the media, winning a total of 13 titles with the club, 5 Primera División, 6 National cups and 2 international cups (organised by Argentine and Uruguayan Associations by then). After retiring from football, Garasini served as coach, being also the Boca Juniors manager from 1943 to 1946, winning two titles else, the 1943 and 1944 league championships, also achieving a mark of 23 consecutive matches unbeaten. Garasini is considered one of the greatest idols in Boca Juniors history, being one of the eight persons in club's history that won titles as both, player and manager. with Rodolfo Arruabarrena as the last of them. Desarrolló la mayor parte de su carrera en el Club Atlético Boca Juniors, en donde se inició como futbolista. En el conjunto «xeneize» destacó con creces y conquistó una notable cantidad de títulos (nueve en total). Fue internacional con la Selección de Fútbol de Argentina en dos oportunidades. Una vez retirado, se desempeñó como entrenador y dirigió al equipo «xeneize» en la década del 40, logrando esta vez dos títulos de la Primera División de Argentina, en los años 1943 y 1944. Falleció en el año 1950, siendo parte del cuerpo técnico del equipo. Es considerado una de las mayores glorias en la historia de Boca Juniors, al ser fundamental tanto como jugador así como en su rol de entrenador, además del hecho de surgir de la cantera de dicho club. Garasini zagrał tylko w pierwszym meczu z Brazylią, w którym zdobył jedną bramkę. Razem z klubem Boca Juniors 6 razy zdobył mistrzostwo Argentyny – w 1919, 1920, 1923, 1924, 1925 i 1926. Garasini zdobył także kilka innych trofeów klubowych – w 1919, w 1919 i 1920, w 1919 i w 1926. W Boca Juniors Garasini grał do końca swej kariery w 1928 roku. Jedynie w 1920 roku na krótko zawitał do drużyny River Plate. W latach 1924-1925 Garasini rozegrał w reprezentacji Argentyny 2 mecze i zdobył 1 bramkę. Po zakończeniu kariery piłkarskiej został trenerem. Pracując w Boca Jumiors dwukrotnie poprowadził ten klub do mistrzostwa Argentyny – w 1943 i 1944. (pl)
