Alexandru Vaida-Voevod or Vaida-Voievod (February 27, 1872—March 19, 1950) was a Romanian politician who was a supporter and promoter of the union of Transylvania with the Romanian Old Kingdom; he later served three terms as a Prime Minister of Greater Romania.

Jeden z głównych inicjatorów i twórców zjednoczenia Siedmiogrodu z Królestwem Rumunii w 1918 roku. Po tym wydarzeniu przyjął przydomek Voievod (czasem Voevod). W okresie międzywojennym czołowy polityk rumuńskiej Partii Narodowo-Chłopskiej. Trzykrotnie sprawował funkcję premiera Rumunii, w okresie 1 grudnia 1919 – 20 marca 1920 roku, 6 czerwca – 19 października 1932 roku oraz 14 stycznia – 14 listopada 1933 roku. Po II wojnie światowej aresztowany przez władze komunistyczne w dniu 24 marca 1945 i osadzony rok później w areszcie domowym w Sybinie. Do końca życia nie odzyskał wolności. (pl)
