- البيمارستان العضدي هو بيمارستان انشأه عضد الدولة البويهي في بغداد، وتم افتتاحه في 3 صفر 372 هـ/ 27 يوليو 982. ألحق بالبيمارستان مكتبة كبيرة. ذكرها ابن جبير حينما زار بغداد عام 580 هـ / 1184 م ولا يعرف بالضبط إلى أي تاريخ استمر هذا البيمارستان في خدماته، غير أنه يبدو أنها استمرت إلى أوائل القرن السابع الهجري على أقل تقدير. - The Al-'Adudi Hospital was established during the era of organized hospitals developed in medieval Islamic culture. Some of these early hospitals were located in Baghdad and among those was the bimaristan Al-'Adudi. The hospital came to be when King of the Buyid Dynasty, 'Adud al-Dawla, decided to construct the hospital a few years before he died. Al-'Adudi was considered one of the most innovative and modern hospitals of the medieval Islamic time period. Amongst well-known physicians of the time period, this hospital was known as an institution for learning and practicing medicine. (en)
- Bimaristan Al-Adudi était un hôpital établi par Adud ad-Dawla de la dynastie des Bouyides à Bagdad en 978. Une grande bibliothèque était attachée à ce bimaristan. Mentionné par Ibn Jubayr lors de sa visite à Bagdad en 1184. On ne sait pas exactement à quelle date ce bimaristan a été maintenu à ses services, mais cela semble avoir duré jusqu'au début du VIIe siècle. le bamirstan avait des médecins, des infirmières, des domestiques, des cuisiniers, des outils et des médicaments, Adud ad-Dawla a personnellement embauché des médecins experts pour travailler dans le bimaristan, notamment: Jabra'il ibn Bokhtichu', Ibn Marzouban et , et était le chef des médecins au bimaristan.
