- المنظمة الأفريقية الآسيوية للتنمية الريفية ( آردو ) تأسست سنة 1962 . هي منظمة حكومية دولية تتمتع بالسيادة الذاتية في اتخاذ القرارات تتألف من 15 عضوا من قارة أفريقيا و 14 عضوا من قارةآسيا.المنظمة تكرس جهودها لتطوير التفام بين الأعضاء لفهم المشاكل التي يعاني منها كل عضو من أعضاء المنظمة واكتشافها بشكل جماعي واتاحة الفرص لتنسيق الجهود لتعزيز الرفاهية والقضاء على العطش والجوع و الأمية والفقر بين مئات الملايين من سكان المناطق الريفية . - \African-Asian Rural Development Organization (AARDO) formed in 1962, is an autonomous inter-governmental organization comprising 33, 17 from Africa, 15 from Asia as full members and one associate member from Asia. AARDO is devoted to develop understanding among members for better appreciation of each other's problems and to explore, collectively, opportunities for coordination of efforts for promoting welfare and eradication of thirst, hunger, illiteracy, disease and poverty amongst hundreds of millions of rural people. AARDO has its headquarters in New Delhi, India. India, one of the founding members of the AARDO, is the largest contributor in terms of membership contribution. (en)
- 아프리카-아시아 농촌개발기구(AARDO, African-Asian Rural Development Organization)는 아시아·아프리카 지역국가간 상호이해를 증진시키고 농촌의 후생증진 및 기아와 빈곤의 타파를 위한 상호협력 방안을 모색하기 위하여 1962년 3월에 설립된 국제기구이다. 대한민국은 1963년 2월에 가입하였다. 현재 31개 회원국 및 2개 준회원으로 구성되어 있으며, 총회는 3년마다 개최되고 있다. 주요 사업은 연수프로그램 및 워크숍 개최를 통한 인적자원 개발, 농촌소득 증대를 위한 시범사업 개발, 남남협력 차원의 전문가 파견 등이다.
