- Ο δήμος Αχιλλείων ήταν δήμος του νομού Κέρκυρας που συστάθηκε με το πρόγραμμα Καποδίστριας από τη συνένωση παλαιότερων κοινοτήτων της περιοχής, που αποτέλεσαν στη συνέχεια τα δημοτικά διαμερίσματα του δήμου. Λειτούργησε την περίοδο 1999 -2010 οπότε και καταργήθηκε με την εφαρμογή του προγράμματος Καλλικράτης και εντάχθηκε στον νέο δήμο Κέρκυρας. Βρισκόταν στο κεντρικό τμήμα του νησιού. Αποτελούνταν από 14 δημοτικά διαμερίσματα και είχε συνολικό πληθυσμό 10.319 κατοίκους. Η έκταση του δήμου ήταν 41,9 τ.χλμ. Έδρα του δήμου ήταν το Γαστούρι. - Achilleio (Greek: Αχίλλειο) is a former municipality on the island of Corfu, Ionian Islands, Greece. Since the 2019 local government reform it is part of the municipality Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands, of which it is a municipal unit. It is located in the south-central part of the island of Corfu, south of Corfu (city). It has a land area of 48.650 km² and a population of 10,651 inhabitants (2011 census). The seat of the municipality was the town of Gastouri (pop. 953). The municipality took its name from the palace Achilleion that Empress Elisabeth of Austria built there. The largest towns are (pop. 1,054), Viros (1,201), Perama (1,021), Benítses (843), Káto Garoúna (579), and Kastellánoi (496). (en)
- Achilleio ou Achíllio (en grec moderne : Αχίλλειο) est un ancien dème de l'ancien nome de Corfou, en Grèce. Il était situé au centre-sud de l’île de Corfou, au sud de Corfou ville. Il avait une superficie de 48 650 km² et une population de 10 319 habitants (au recensement de 2001). Il a fusionné en 2011 avec ses voisins pour former le dème de Corfou, avant d'être rattaché en 2019 au dème de Corfou-Centre et des îles Diapontiques dans le cadre du programme Clisthène I. Le siège du dème d’Achilleio était le village de Gastoúri (953 habitants). Les autres villages du dème étaient (1 279 habitants), Virós (1 018 habitants), (877 habitants), Benítses (789 habitants), (650 habitant) et (553 habitants). Le dème d’Achilleio tenait son nom du palais de l’Achilleion, que l’impératrice Élisabeth d’Autriche-Hongrie s’est fait construire à Corfou en 1889-1891. (fr)
