- The Académie Internationale de Droit Constitutionnel or International Academy for Constitutional Law (IACL) was created in 1984 and is based in Tunis, Tunisia. The official language of the academy is French. Its members come from more than 50 countries. The aim of the academy is to promote the study of constitutional law with an international approach, and by comparing different systems.

Ses fondateurs se sont inspirés de l'Académie de Droit International.Le but de l'AIDC est l'étude approfondie du droit constitutionnel comparé. Les activités ne portent pas sur un droit commun à tous mais sur la comparaison de l'état du droit et des pratiques juridiques dans les différents pays du monde.L'AIDC est un espace de réflexion et d'échange.
