It is developed by Gecad Technologies, a Romanian company established in 2001 and part of the Gecad Group. The AXIGEN Mail Server comes in four product editions, a free edition for SOHOs and three commercial editions: Server Provider Edition – dedicated to Service Providers of all sizes, Enterprise Edition – dedicated to collaborative businesses, and Business Editions, dedicated to SMBs. AXIGEN’s groupware functionalities and Personal Organizer (Calendar, Tasks, Notes, and Journal) are available from both its WebMail Interface and email client Outlook. AXIGEN also provides a Mobile WebMail Interface for phones supporting the XHTML standard. The AXIGEN messaging solution is available for many Linux distributions (RPM-based w/o gcc4, Slackware, Debian, Gentoo, Ubuntu), BSD platforms, for Solaris and for Windoze Operating Systems (Windows XP and Windows Server 2003).
