- Mistrovství světa superbiků 2014 je 27. ročníkem mistrovství světa superbiků. Sezona začne 23. února na australském okruhu Phillip Island a dle provizorního kalendáře by měla po 14 podnicích skončit 2. listopadu závody na dosud nespecifikovaném okruhu. V rámci snižování nákladů je v této sezoně poprvé zavedena kategorie motocyklů nazvaná „EVO“. Šasi, podvozek a brzdy těchto motocyklů odpovídají specifikacím FIM Superbike, ale motor a elektronika podléhají specifikacím FIM Superstock. V roce 2014 pojedou tyto motocykly spolu s běžnými superbiky (podobně jako kategorie CRT v MotoGP), ale již od sezony 2015 by motocykly specifikace EVO měly současné superbiky zcela nahradit. (cs)

- The 2014 Superbike World Championship was the twenty-seventh season of the Superbike World Championship. The season saw the revision of the Superpole format: riders placed from eleventh to twentieth position in the combined classification of the first three practice sessions were admitted to Superpole 1, then the two fastest SP1 riders progressed to Superpole 2, which finally awarded the pole position, joining the ten fastest riders of practice. Sylvain Guintoli became the Superbike World Champion at the last race, prevailing over Tom Sykes by six points in the standings.
