- The 2013–14 Regionalliga was the sixth season of the Regionalliga, the second under the new format, as the fourth tier of the German football league system. The champions of Regionalliga Nord – Holstein Kiel – and Regionalliga Nordost – RB Leipzig – as well as Regionalliga Südwest runners-up SV Elversberg were promoted to the 3. Liga. Rozgrywki toczyły się w pięciu grupach: Nord (Północ), Nordost (Północny Wschód), West (Zachód), Südwest (Południowy Zachód) oraz Bayern (Bawaria) i występowało w nich łącznie 90 drużyn. Po zakończeniu sezonu mistrzowie każdej grupy oraz wicemistrz grupy "Südwest" grali w barażu o trzy miejsca premiowane awansem do 3. Ligi, zaś najsłabsze drużyny z każdej grupy spadały do Oberligi.
