- 2013 Supercheap AutoBathurst 1000Previous2012Next2014 The 2013 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 was an Australian touring car motor race for V8 Supercars, the twenty-ninth race of the 2013 International V8 Supercars Championship. It was held on 13 October 2013 at the Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales. Mark Winterbottom and Steven Richards won the race for Ford Performance Racing, ahead of the pole-sitting Triple Eight Race Engineering car of Jamie Whincup and Paul Dumbrell and their team-mates Craig Lowndes and Warren Luff. The winning race time of six hours, eleven minutes and 27.9 seconds was a new record for a full 1,000-kilometre event, beating the previous record set in 2010 by 84 seconds. Along with the 2010 race, it was the second to be covered at an average speed of over 160 kilometres per hour (100 mph). (en)
