The 2010 Singapore Grand Prix (formally the 2010 Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix) was a Formula One motor race held on 26 September 2010, at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, Marina Bay, Singapore. It was the fifteenth race of the 2010 Formula One World Championship, and the third Singapore Grand Prix held as part of the Formula One World Championship. Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso won the 61-lap race from pole position. Sebastian Vettel finished second for Red Bull and his teammate Mark Webber was third.

Alonso held off Vettel to maintain his start line advantage on the first lap. Lewis Hamilton, who started third, fought off teammate Jenson Button to retain his start position. The top two remained the same through the first and only round of pit stops. Webber's team, Red Bull, opted to pit him early allowing him to move ahead of Hamilton. The race was neutralised by the deployment of the safety car after Kamui Kobayashi and Bruno Senna crashed on lap 31. Hamilton retired after a collision with Webber shortly after the race restarted on lap 36. Alonso maintained the lead for the remainder of the race under pressure from Vettel. The race was Alonso's second consecutive victory and his fourth of the 2010 season; he had started from pole position to win the Italian Grand Prix two weeks earlier. The win moved Alonso to second place in the World Drivers' Championship, eleven points behind leader Webber. Hamilton's retirement dropped him to third, while Vettel's second-place finish moved him to fourth past Jenson Button. In the Constructors' Championship, Red Bull extended its lead over McLaren to 24 points, with Ferrari a further 40 points behind, with four races remaining in the season. Alonso's Grand Slam was the last by a Ferrari driver until Charles Leclerc at the 2022 Australian Grand Prix. (en)

Les organisateurs du Grand Prix de Singapour ont apporté des modifications au circuit pour la troisième édition de l'épreuve. L'asphalte des rues a été refait entre les virages 3 à 7 et entre les virages 14 à 19. L'asphalte de la voie des stands a été nivelé et abaissé d’un centimètre pour permettre aux voitures de rejoindre la piste de manière plus douce car une marche de goudron était présente à la sortie des stands. Le virage 10 (« Chicane appelée Sling »), anciennement constitué d’une succession de vibreurs, faisait décoller les monoplaces : la position des vibreurs a donc été modifiée pour des raisons de sécurité. Enfin, les murs de béton sont désormais peints en bleu, vert et jaune selon les portions, permettant aux téléspectateurs de se repérer plus facilement.   • De Grand Prix Formule 1 van Singapore 2010 werd verreden op 26 september 2010. De race vond plaats op het Marina Bay Street Circuit. Nick Heidfeld en Christian Klien kwamen tijdens de race voor de eerste maal uit in het seizoen 2010. Ferrari-coureur Fernando Alonso wist tijdens de kwalificatietraining de snelste tijd op de klok te brengen, voor de tweede maal op rij startte de Spanjaard vanaf poleposition. Op de eerste startrij startte naast Alonso Sebastian Vettel op plaats twee. Lewis Hamilton zette de derde tijd neer. Op zondag wist Fernando Alonso zijn eerste startplaats tot de finish te behouden. Sebastian Vettel maakte het de Spanjaard aan het einde van de race even moeilijk, maar door een gele vlag in het laatste gedeelte van de race moest hij uiteindelijk genoegen nemen met de tweede plaats. Klassementsleider Mark Webber finishte de race als derde. De Australiër zag een van zijn tegenstrevers in het kampioenschap, Lewis Hamilton, uitvallen. Fernando Alonso behaalde een "Grand Chelem (Pole, Winst, Snelste Ronde & de hele race geleid)" in deze race. De gele vlag werd veroorzaakt door een felle brand in de auto van Heikki Kovalainen. Drie rondes voor het einde van de race kwam hij in botsing met Sébastien Buemi waardoor de brandstofpomp beschadigd raakte. Hierdoor ontstond er een vuur in de airbox en niet veel later stond de gehele achterzijde van de auto in lichterlaaie. Omdat Kovalainen het te gevaarlijk vond om de hevig brandende bolide in de pits te parkeren, zette hij hem op het lange rechte stuk bij de start/finish. Hij kon uiteindelijk de brand zelf blussen met behulp van brandblussers die hem door het Williams-team werden aangereikt. Kovalainen bleef ongedeerd tijdens het incident, dat begin december 2010 werd uitgeroepen tot LG Moment of the Year. (nl)
