The attendance was 17,383 and receipts were £3,393 This was the fifth of five consecutive Lancashire Cup final wins for St. Helens, and what is more, the fifth of seven victories in a period of nine successive seasons.It is also the fourth time in the last five years that Swinton have been defeated finalists.
